What’s the best career for someone that loves different cultures and tropical places?

career
Kevin asked:

I’m going to be volunteering for the peace corps for 2 years overseas in Africa or Asia. After that I’d like to get a degree for a career that involves working overseas in tropical places if possible. Any ideas? Is a degree in tourism and hospitality management the best way to go?

What will your work with the Peace Corps consist of? Your experience in Africa/Asia will provide many new ideas.
If you like working with varied cultures you could teach ESL.

Try working as an English Teacher.
The pay is way above local average. Usually, you work only 16-20 hrs a week plus Summer breaks.
Qualifications include being a native English speaker and having a bachelor’s degree.

Google “English Teacher in China (or Thailand, Vietnam and other tropical countries)”, you will find lots of them.
