Well, I graduated with a Soc degree a few months ago with the intention of working for a non-profit organization or a research institution, but I've ended up teaching English to Kindergartners in South Korea instead! What do you know, nothing ever goes as planned. But I loved, loved, loved Sociology. It's so broad - you could go so many directions with it, and there are so many jobs you could land... This can be to your advantage, and to your disadvantage depending on how you look at it. But this is your undergrad. Enjoy it. If you want to get a very specific career, you'll probably have to end up going to Grad school anyway. Save your specs for then, major in what interests you. You'll thank yourself for it. As for teh criminology part, cool. You can go into law, or advocacy, non-profits, government, research, intelligence..... and more. Ann
