What kind of jobs will the economic stimulus package bring about?

Harry Reid claims it will create 3.5 million jobs. What kind of jobs and how does he make that claim? Also if anybody can explain to me in laymans terms what this bill means for the average citizen. Thanks a bunch!

In the UK, these jobs will be known as ‘Government Employees’ (or ‘Public Sector’) workers ..
Their main job will be to extract money (in one form or another i.e. direct and indirect Taxes, Duties, VAT, charges, penalties, licenses etc etc etc) from the ‘Private Sector’ Companies and their workers (i.e. the ones doing the real jobs) in order to pay for the wages and Pensions of the Government Workers .. Lots of construction jobs. Quite a few teaching jobs. A bit of high-tech jobs in things like installing broadband to urban areas. Shaded
