I'm thinking about majoring in English, too. Teaching is a possibility (which is what I'm interested in), as is journalism or anything in the communications field. I would consider checking on the website of colleges that you're most interested in. Start your search there. A lot of times, the websites will give a list of careers that require the skills of your specific major. The great thing about and English degree is that it can take you almost anywhere! Keep in mind, though, that "Englishy" careers aren't always incredibly lucrative, at least starting out.

Oh, and will you answer mine? THANKS!<a href="http://www.realfreshfood.com/natural-food/natural-food.htm"> BreadCrumbs4MEEEE!</a>

What made you decide that you wanted to be an English major, if you don't know what types of jobs are available to them??? I would suggest that you think what you want to do and then decide on a major. Many college websites have sample careers for the majors they offer. The most obvious career would be an English teacher or you can go to graduate school or law school. Get a relevant internship in school and write for the school's newspaper etc.
