What jobs would be available with these options?

Josh asked:

In school I have received all my choices for my options, they are history French Spanish and media studies, I’m also taking double science.
I was just wondering what jobs would be available with these qualifications.
Also if I go to university afterwards I am planning on going to France to learn more about the language, just saying if that helps with any jobs.

It may not seem obvious, but you may want to consider sales.

While your language arts may not seem like a asset, in the sales world they can open doors that others can’t open. Because of your science background, you are obviously good in math. Your media studies somewhat indicate that you are not going to be intimidated by a computer either. The best thing is that businesses need sales people to stay in business and a good salesman is hard to find.

Since it sounds like you are new to the field, look for an entry level sales position at for the area where you live. Look for listings where Sales and French, or Sales and Spanish are keywords.

    Best wishes. The Job Advocate

It’s not always obvious how to start looking for a job, I was in a bit of a hole in recent times when I was job hunting, until I uncovered the website in the box below that presents sensible tips and tricks. I soon got myself going down the proper way, and in a couple of weeks after a few interviews I secured a really good job. Lacey
