Aside from that, and a bit more unusual, is the job of Tea Buyer. I imagine there may be similar jobs in other industries, coffee, rice etc, but I know that Tea buyers have to travel around the world to select and buy teas. It takes many years to train as a tea buyer or tea taster - 5 years according to Twinings, between 5 and 7 according to Tetley Harris. You need a good sense of smell and taste, and I guess you need to like tea (you could be sampling up to 500 teas a day). Tetley actually run a graduate training scheme in the UK, which clearly states that the role will involve 'international travel'.
