What is the first job I could start out with in aviation as a pilot that would lead me to a higher level?

Experience for pilot job in regional airlines?

All regional airlines require atleast 500-600 hrs of experience in order to apply for a pilot job. My question is- how can one have so much experience unless he is employed previously?
