My spouse has to move every 3 - 6 months for work as a travelling RN. We get free housing and it’s very fun to see different places. The only problem is that I have to try to find a new job constantly. I want an actual career where I don’t have to start from scratch every time we move. Any ideas? By the way, I have a BA & a strong sales background, but am looking for any options.

I’m planning to move to Vancouver as soon as I get my Master degree. I was wandering how people deal with finding jobs when they actually aren’t in the area where the job is offered. If they put an adress far away from the city in the resumé, would the employer still be intersted? I red that it’s better to be in the area when looking for the job but I also heard that some compagnies deal with that by making phone interviews. Anyone with a similar experience can help?

My boyfriend just graduated from college with an associates degree in Animating. We’ve been looking online for jobs, and he’s posted his resume on three different sites. But most of the jobs say they’d like 3-5 years of experience. How is he suppose to find a job when no one will hire him so he could gain some experience? He graduated at the top of his class and is very creative. Any advice?

I’m 16 and I really need a job soon because I will be getting my lisence soon and I will need to pay for gas when I drive my parents’ cars. Being a cashier at some retail store just doesn’t look interesting. I’ve checked on some job websites but they all come up with is jobs for people with a lot of experience and jobs where you need a degree in something.

jeannes85 asked: I’m going to graduate college in less than a year, and am already getting stressed about finding a good job. I will graduate with a degree in Communications and minor in Econ. I want to go into human resources… I have some experience with basic clerical work, and have had one summer internship in finance (found out i didn’t like it)
I am also open to other careers, because I’m still not positive what I want to do! Maybe public relations, or working for the city/county…
Any ideas on what I might do, and how to get a job?
