I am an undergraduate student, biology major, and was interested in pursuing a career in healthcare management/administration. What should I do to learn more about the field, and what should I do after I graduate?

I already have a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Biotechnology…but would like to have a career in animal welfare. What would be the best way to get started? I would not mind going back to school…preferably for a more advanced degree and not another Bachelors, though. Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: I have looked at several non-profits in the area and they are more than happy to take on volunteers…but as far as hiring goes…I have no idea how to get my foot in the door.

I would like to start a career in Journalism. The thing is, I have ten years of experience in the IT field, and a degree in Biology and one in Economics. Will this make it difficult for me? Should I look into going to graduate school, or look for an undergraduate certificate program? What schools would you recommend in California?

I am a health professions major and biology minor and I worry about the kind of career I can pursue if I choose not to go to graduate school. What kind of other options are available?
