I decided to make a career change but I am having difficulties landing a job interview. I had a fair amount of responses with my resume in the previous industry (because of the job experiences).

Any strategies to market ourselves when doing a career change so we can at least land a decent job interview?

Etiquette wise, there is not a lot you can do. What you can do to help yourself is go back to school if there are educational requirements for the line of work you want to get into. At the very least see if there is somewhere you can volunteer that is in the same field. pathological

Getting new skills is always a good move, as is posting your resume on monster and yahoo, registering at employment agencies and checking your local classifieds. Esp if you’re taking classes in a new skill, that will enhance your resume. Spindrift
