Your direction is correct to lead you into Psychology. I have a BA in psychology and started a Masters Program in Mental Health Counseling. Depending on what direction you want to go, there are many specialized psychology programs at the graduate level. MHC gives you in depth information about mental illness and DSM-IV classifications of disorders. To really get an understanding of the field and be marketable, you will at least need your masters degree. There are many programs that offer the PsyD which is a fairly new program in Psychology. Good Luck with your continued studies and much success!
