If you live in Manhattan, and have to ask on Yahoo - then you are truly lost. Start with SCHOOL - ask yout teachers there for a referral for a good private voice teacher. There is almost NO connection between being in Drum Corps and being a singer - but your teachers may know a good voice teacher. It sound like you have WAY more dreams than you do education and experience - so get to work on the EDUCATION part - then comes the experience. Plan to get into the best COLLEGE program you can, and once you are well-educated an experienced, then you can see about opening some doors. IN Manhattan, you have a big plus and a big minus - EVERYTHING yo need is there - and so is all the COMPETITION in the world - with more already-fabulous people arriving every day - and thousands of wannabees. I wish you much luck - but you have given us no indication of SKILLS in your post, only desire.
