I don’t get the reason people say that mexican immigrants are ruining the job market here.
Since they don’t have citizenship they can’t get good jobs any way and have a lot of trouble finding jobs.
So what are people talking about?

Employers hire illegals for cheap, devaluing wages for the citizens. look at the meat packing industry. Once paid good wages and benefits to support a family of four. Now, it pays minimum pay w/o benefits. Thank your illegals and migrants for thousands losing their jobs. Bobbi

Illegal aliens take the jobs that unskilled, uneducated Americans used to do. Jobs that teens and elderly used to do. Jobs that Americans took and worked their way up to better pay.
As for having trouble finding jobs, it is estimated that there are over 8M illegals in the US work force, and they are not out in the fields. Sasori

I see what you mean, and agree with you and the first answerer. They just have to have a group to blame everything on.
Try to remember that every employer/business in this country, small and large, is the cause of the problem. If they werent hiring, the illegals would not be coming, right? You cannot just blame the illegals, they didnt ruin the workforce. Greedy, rich and snobby buisness owners did, and do. BLAME them. There would be no illegals taking the jobs, if they were not offered to them DUH. THE EMPLOYERS ARE THE PROBLEM. Yes, that is right the GREEDY AMERICANS who hire them are the problem. Geez.. that worn out “illegals are doing the dirty jobs that Americans won’t do”.. They do good jobs like brick laying, dry wall hanging, electrician, etc.. *AND* they do it for less.. *THAT* brings down wages for *EVERYONE*.. *AND* the are a drain on our Social Welfare system… sucking it dry without adding anything of value back.. “..ruining the job market here”? there are companies that have no problem cheating the system and finding ways to not get caught. Since they are not citizens they do not have to make minimum wage. There are so many companies and it is easy to hide an illegal here and there. Obama worse than Woodrow Wilson!

Construction run the USA and the illegals work that. Employers should be fine and jailed along with the illegals. Every job out there has there foot print on it education of a job and they get it for less $ and the citizens are under the bus. or a the curb. 45 auto

No… you are twisting the words, and the very excellent examinations of this process are posted all over this board.
1. They don’t have I.D. and the crummy ratso employers say fine.. but we cannot pay you full wages.. and they don’t. So they hurt us by lowering wages.. they take American Jobs and blow the bottom out of the low end wages.
2. They work under the table.. they don’t pay State income taxes, or FICA, or insurance while they are collecting an enormous amount of welfare. Welfare that continues to get bigger by the way.
3. They work in all the jobs in the United States.. not just labor jobs and it is going to stop. Joel W

Stop defending lawlessness. Are you American? If you are a citizen or a legal resident of the U.S.A. uphold the law. Would you go to another country without permission and fake documents? If you did, wouldn’t you expect to be thrown in jail or deported? Whether they are taking good jobs or bad jobs is secondary. They shouldn’t be working here in the first place since it’s illegal. In the second place, the employers who hire them are just as guilty. If they are Americans they are traitors to their nation and their people to hire illegal aliens over US citizens and legal residents. Lucero
