kristy asked: I am going to school majoring in communications. I know that there are several different paths I could go down, being that a communications degree is so broad. So I was just wondering what suggestions people might have? I also like journalism but haven’t really declared it as my minor or anything, I don’t really know if it would help with a communications major.
Any suggestions of successful career paths? I also live in Michigan and was considering applying in cities out of state as well, does anybody know of any cities that would be good for jobs within communications?

I can’t afford to just get a degree, I have tried all avenues and I think at least trying to get a IT certification/We Design will at least get me in the door and go from there.
