Are finding jobs in environmental science more difficult than others? What kinds of jobs will be available to?
Cat asked:
I’m thinking about majoring in environmental science but I’m not entirely sure what jobs are out there and how difficult it is to find a job despite the recession. I’ve read that the general yearly starting salary is around 40,000, and if anyone could confirm this, that’d be great.

It starts about 35,000 with little experience. But the demand is increasing and science is very good to get into right now. philtheman0901

It’s politically and socially popular at the moment, but that may not last as people realize other things also need attention. Don’t narrow your preparations any more than necessary. A science background is helpful in many productive fields. Frank N
