Any good ideas of a Professional career that involves animals or just being out-doors?
peepo asked:
Ok, i guess you could all relate being a senior in high school and trying to decide what you will go into in college. Well, I am one of them. Right now my career plans have changed every week and it is crazy. So i thought i may slow down and take a breath and decide what i enjoy the most and one thing comes into mind that has to do with animals or outdoors. So, does anyone have any good suggestions of what i cool career would be that could fit my interest?

Don’t stress about it, just major in business or marketing like everyone else, then change it when you find what it is you want to do.

Have you considered veterinarian? It’s very difficult, and takes 8 years. But it’s worth it in the end. You get to spend lots of time outside if you decide to go into large animal medicine. You get to work with animals and it’s cool.

Do not take marine biology. There are 100 grads for every job. You need a doctorate to get looked at. Try wildlife biology. For a living you would be preparing environmental impact statements. This requires a lot of field work.

You could work as a naturalist for a fish and game agency. You could work as a zoo keeper. You could work as a farm animal veterinarian. You could work as a bird keeper in an aviary.
