Mr. Awesomeness asked: I would like to raise enough money to buy a computer and a monitor by next Christmas at the start of 2012 at the very latest, but I don’t have a job. My parents won’t let me babysit or mow lawns either. I have given out flyers for dog watching/walking almost 2 whole months ago, but nobody’s emailed me or called me yet. I don’t think that I could work at a job like a bakery or a supermarket either because I’m 12 years old. I can’t think of any other jobs. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. (also, I would like to keep the computer from $600-$750 and a monitor from $125-$175, any tips on what computers/monitors to get would be appreciated)

Jake S asked: I’m probably gonna have to get a job soon, and the thing I’m most passionate about is reforming prisons and the justice system, especially in terms of juveniles. I am VERY sympathetic towards inmates, particularly juveniles tried as adults. I was wondering if there are any jobs where I could try to fight for inmates’ rights. Like an organization for inmates’s rights or something like that.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Madddie. asked: Before I apply for college this year, I want to have a realistic outlook on jobs. I’m looking into public relations (Publicist, wedding planner, manager, public relations person) and I’d like to know if these jobs are easy to find out of college. If not, what ARE some jobs that are doing well?

talkingdolphin asked: I mean are the DOL and the DOT considered state or gov. jobs (I know that things like the Parks and Recreation jobs are considered city jobs)? The Dept of Foreign Affairs, the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, etc. are considered other government jobs, right?
(When I said other government jobs, I meant federal jobs)…. Probably I need to clarify. Take the DOT for example. Why would the ferry system employed by the state government and not the actual federal government (shouldn’t the ferries be a part of the DOT)?

bdozen13 asked: How many jobs were taken out of the private sector and moved into the federal government under the Bush Administration? How many private contractors lost their business when Bush moved these jobs? How much was added to the federal budget when these jobs were moved from private contractors into government service?
acidBUR - The Bush Administration authorized TSA and under TSA all airport security screening (-4 airports) beasme a federal job thus private sector jobs were taken over by governemnt employees adding thousands of new federal employees and billions of dollars in wages as the fed employees are paid almost 3 times what the private security paid.
